Privacy Policy

inviterLab lets you design online invitations, publish them on your own address and collect replies from your guests. This page explains what information we handle and how we treat it.

1. Information we collect

  • Account details — your username, email address and an encrypted password.
  • Invitation content — the text, photos, location, countdown and RSVP form settings you add while editing.
  • Guest replies — when a guest answers an RSVP form we store the name, email, attendance, number of guests and message they submit.
  • Technical data — session and security cookies needed to keep you signed in and protect forms.

2. How we use it

  • To run your account and show your dashboard.
  • To display your published invitation to the people you share the link with.
  • To show you your guests' replies and, if enabled, email you when a new reply arrives.
  • To keep the service secure and prevent abuse.

3. Who can see your data

Your published invitation is visible to anyone who has its link. Guest replies are visible only to you, the invitation owner, and to site administrators who need access to operate and moderate the service. We do not sell your personal data or use it for advertising.

4. Photos and uploads

Photos you upload are stored on our servers and used only inside your invitations. Please upload only images you have the right to use, and avoid sharing sensitive personal information in invitation text.

5. Cookies

We use only essential cookies: a session cookie to keep you logged in and a security (CSRF) cookie to protect forms. We do not use advertising or tracking cookies.

6. Retention and deletion

We keep your data while your account is active. You can unpublish or delete an invitation at any time, which also removes its guest replies. To delete your account and related data, contact the site administrator.

7. Your rights

You may ask to access, correct, export or delete the personal data we hold about you. Guest replies can be exported from your dashboard.

8. Guests

If you are a guest who submitted an RSVP and want your reply removed, please contact the invitation owner or the site administrator.

9. Changes

We may update this policy from time to time. The date at the top shows when it was last changed.

10. Contact

Questions about privacy? Reach out to the site administrator through the contact details provided by the website owner.
